An easy half day trip to a lookout point overlooking Volcan Santiaguito, Guatemala´s most active volcano. We pick you up at your hotel or host family at 6:00 a.m. and drive 40 minutes to the trailhead. From there, it takes approximately 2 hours to hike to the lookout point. You’ll have one hour to take photos and rest before beginning the 1.5-hour descent.
